Netbook will be given to top 2500 students of class X and XII 2012-13
State ministry will be provide netbook for the top 2500 students of the class X and XII each for the academic session 2012-13. The netbook will be of either Acer or Lenovo with good technical specification which will be explained below in the article.

Director of the Education Dinkar Burathoki today said that the top 2500 students from both X and XII class of the academic year 2012-13 will be awarded with the netbooks. He also said that this is the first time that government will give such award to the toppers. While addressing to the media he also said that government will spent RS 10 million for this schemes and netbook will be available within the one month of the manufactures.
He said that these netbooks will be manufacturers by the Lenovo, Acers or Microsoft Corporation, but Microsoft Corporation was rejected due to some problems in its previous components so only Lenovo and Acer will manufacturers the netbooks and very soon it be will send to the toppers of school.
While addressing the media he also said that it is a good way to increase the education as well as literacy rate in state. By starting this scheme students will read more and there will be more competitions in the state. This scheme is only for the students of the HP Board not for the private schools or for the other school candidates.
Specifications of the Netbooks
The netbooks will operate on the Window 8 operating system with 2 GB of RAM (Random Access Memory). It has 350GB of hard disk which is enough memory for the storage of the files as well as data. It comes with 1.6 GHz Dual Core processor which is much faster and sufficient for the students for their basic use. You can also connect with the Internet through Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth no data card is available for the connectivity. So if your school or college have own Wi-Fi than you use internet with Wi-Fi otherwise you have to connect with internet through mobile by Bluetooth.

Director of education said that that have order for the company to manufacture these netbook and it will be available to the students with in one month after it has completely manufactured all the netbooks. And he also said that this schemes will be continue every year and may be number of students may be increased next year, so that more students will enjoy the features of the netbooks and use it for the education purposes.
