New Paragliding Training Institute in Kangra district
On the occasion of the closing ceremony of the International Paragliding Championship which was held in the Billing from 24th October to 30th October, Chief Minister of the state said that new Paragliding Training Institute will open in the coming few year. Here we are discussing about the Championship which will held in the Billing and announcement made by the CM in detailed.
Closing Ceremony
On 30th October, closing ceremony of the International Championship for the Paragliding which was held in the Billing, Kangra district has been celebrated with great enthusiasm and enjoy. In the ceremony the prize were distributed to the winner of the competition by the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
The Chief Guest of the Closing ceremony was Chief Minister of the state Raja Virbhadra Singh who distributed the prizes to the winners and encourages participates to participates more in such type of competitions.
On his speech, he said that the name of this place is very famous for organizing such type of competition in the state due to which our tourism increases. He also said that it is the world's second largest paragliding spot after first in the South Africa so we have to provide more facilities so that large numbers of competition will be organizes every year in this place.
While addressing to the peoples he announces that state government will open here new training center for the Paragliding in the coming few years, due to which more youth of the state will participates in this competition.
IPC 2013 in Billing
International Paragliding Competition 2013 was held in the Billing, Kangra district from 24th October to the 30th October in which so many national as well international Para gliders participated. The winners of the competition were awarded by the Chief Guest on 30th October.
