Medal for HP in National Dragon Boat Championship
The state girl team has won the bronze medal in the National Dragon Boat Championship 2014 which was held in the Kerala. This is the first time that HP's team has won any medal in this competition. Initially this competition was started in the 2010.
First ever medal in National Dragon Boat Competition for HP
This is the first time that Himachal Pradesh's team has won any medal in the National Dragon Championship 2014. So it is a great honor for the peoples of Himachal Pradesh and this all credits goes for the players who have performed very well in the tournament. They have performed with one of the best team across the country and wining medal in this championship is obvious a great work.
National Dragon Boat Championship 2014
This championship was every conducted in the month of Feb or March. This competition was initially started in the 2010 and this is the fifth time that this championship was held. This year it was held in the Kerala state, in which about 17 teams across the different states including Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Naidu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Karnataka, Haryana, Indian Navy and other teams were participated in this events.
This championship was held in the month Feb on 22nd and 23rd in which so many teams have performed.
HP Dragon Boat Team
In the 5th National Dragon Boat Championship which was held in the Allapuzha in Kerala for two days in which so many teams across the country have participated will ended with enthusiasm. In this competition HP state's team also have participated and this is the first time that HP's team have won any medal in this events. The girl team has won the bronze medal in this championship.
In this event both men and girls teams from the Himachal Pradesh have participated in this events. The girl team was led by the Laxmi from Chamba district. After winning the medal player of the team said that they are very happy to win prize for the state and they feeling very happy want to win gold medal next time.
On this occasion the coach of the team Mr. Chaman Lal also said that the teams have performed very well and it is their hard work that they have won the medal in this competition and also we will do more hard work so that we can win more medals next time during the championship.
