Two medical colleges for Himachal Pradesh
Central government declared two medical college for the state which will be open in the Chamba and Sirmaur district very soon in the coming few year. For each college total 60 seats are allowed by the government.
Government Medical colleges for Chamab and Sirmaur district
Ministry of Union has recently announced that the state government will open government medical college in the Chamba and Sirmaur district. The union ministry said that in the state there are only two medical college are currently present in the Shimla (IGMC Shimla) and In Kangra (Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda) and the peoples of the other district have to face many problem whenever some serious case are happen in the government hospital than they are either referred to the IGMC, Shimla or to the PGI Chandigarh or also Tanda. So it takes so many times so patients may be died. So the governments have decided to open medical college in the state.
Medical Colleges in HP
Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has welcomed the Union health Minister decision to open medical college in the state. In both the college there are about 60 seats for each college will be allow by the government. These colleges will be open in the Chamba district and Sirmaur district. These colleges are to be open very soon in the state.
In press statement HPCC spokesperson said that peoples of the Chamba district are demanding to open medical in the district but central government have not yet decide to open college but finally they have pass this college so it is a good opportunity for the residents of this districts. He also said that youth of the district will get opportunity to get placed in the college.
Now number of medical seats in the state has been increased to more than 200 plus. Before these college only two colleges are present and each college has 90 seats are present for each college. Now total numbers of medical seats are increased from 180 to 300 seats.

If you want to take admission in these college than you must have pass the senior secondary examination in the medical with you have to clear the medical entrance exam conducted by the medical council and on the basis of marks obtained in this exam candidates are placed in these colleges.
