Kangra district celebrates every year in the month of March, Holi festival and which will continue for the four day. This festival was celebrated in the Martyr Vikram Batra ground which is situated in the Palampur region in the Kangra state. This festival was initially started in the end of 19th century in which peoples celebrates with each other by putting different colours and water on each other. This year the opening ceremony of the festival will be held on 14th March and which will continues till next four days and closing ceremony will be held on the 17th March. This festival will be takes place in the Kangra district which is connected with other parts of the state by road, train and also air plane. There are so many buses are available for this place from all parts of the state. It is about 300 KM from the state capital Shimla and about 250 km from the Chandigarh.
