LR College Solan
This college was initially established in the year of 2000 and at that time only Law course is available. During that time it was one of the famous law colleges in the state. The main founder of the college was Late Lala Lilu Ram and is led by the Chairman Kailash Goel. The main branch of this college is situated in the Haryana district. But nowadays there are so many courses are available in this college. The infrastructure of the college is so well designed and provides lots of facility to the students and staff.
Courses
In this college different courses are offered such as in the field of engineering you can do either bachelor degree or diploma in mechanical, civil, IT, computer science and electronics and communication also electrical engineering.
In the management section, it offered MBA, MCA, BCA and BBA regular courses every year and apart from it you can also do Law, pharmacy and B. Ed from this college. So these are the main courses which are currently offered by this college.
How to take admission
In the engineering stream you have to give the written examination conducted by the CBSE i.e. JEE Main examination and have to attend the counseling in the Hamirpur and on the basis of marks obtained in this test candidates gets seats in the different colleges including this one. In the polytechnic only you have to give the PAT examination because no one can do polytechnic without this test.
While in the other department you can take the direct admission at the time of admission, admission will be done on the marks obtained in the last passed examination.

Achievements
In the 2014, TVIRUS which is one of the group of the engineering students in which they creates new things such as robots, have taken in the participants in the ROBOCON 2014 event in the Pune and ended at the 20th position out of the 90 plus colleges. Also this group has performed very well in the NIT fest last year and got so many awards.
Facility
There is bus facility for the students as well as staff from the college to the Solan bypass in the early morning. There is also a gym, badminton court and basketball ground where you can play these games. There is a court for the table tennis n the college. Apart from it there is also cafeteria and canteens are presents in the college.

This college is situated in the Jabli-Kyar which is about 10 k from the Solan on the Rajgarh raod, there are so many mini buses such as blue lines and lovely travels are available and you can easily reach this place.
