Auto Fair 2014
Three day long 'Auto Fair 2014' being held in Banikhet from 22nd April to 24th April in the Paddar Ground, in front of BTC DAV College Banikhet. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Executive Officer of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Mr. DP Maurya. This fest was continue for the next three days in which so many stalls were being established by the different distributors across the ground and peoples of the district also enjoy this auto fair and they have bought so many vehicle and also pre-order the vehicles.
Main Attractions
This year the main attractions of the Auto Fair were Nano launched by the Tata Motors last year, apart from it Bajaj two wheelers are also main attraction of the fair and also other motors including Fiat, Ashoka Leyland, Reynolds, Shah Auto Mobile and Chevrolet motors have placed their best vehicles in the fair. There are about 10 to 15 different stalls are being established by the different motors and every day lots of peoples visits the fair and enjoy this fest. It is the first time that peoples of this district are watching new technology in their home ground otherwise they have to go to Chandigarh or Shimla. so it is one of the best step taken by the Divya Himachal to promote new technologies in the new backward areas of state by organizing such auto fair in backward district.
Apart from exhibition peoples have also buy so many vehicles from this fair. During the Auto Fair 2014, one Fiat model, Ashoka Leyland have sold 9 models, on the Reynolds stall 15, on Shah Auto Mobile stall 14 and on the Chevrolet stall 9 inquiry has been made. Apart from four wheeler peoples have also bought Bajaj's two wheeler from the Bajaj Stall.
In the fair Mahanadi and Musical Chairs competition events were also the main attraction of points for this fair.
Conclusion
On the last day while talking to media, all the head of motors are very happy to see such a good response from the peoples. So they are thinking to hold this auto fair next time in the same venue. So let wait for the next time Auto Fair 2015 till that wait.
