Metro Train to be run in Queen of Hill, Shimla, HP
State government has decided that they will open the Metro Train facility in Shimla, Dharamshala and Manali in the coming few years. The main reason for providing this facility is to maintain the traffic system of the state.

Shimla is the capital of the Himachal Pradesh and it is the 17th state of India which was formed in the mid of the 19th century and is situated on the hilly areas, so most of times this place is also known as Queen of Hill. We have seen that Metro Train is running in various places of Delhi and Mumbai. It is one of the fastest and most luxurious ways to travel. With the metro train you can travel one km distance within few seconds. With the metro train facility traffic system of any country or state will be improved and peoples have not to suffer from the daily traffic. So transport minister of state organizes committee for this in which long discussion will be held on the topic of Traffic.
Metro Train Facility
So in the meeting, they have decided that Metro Train facility will be provided for the local peoples of the state. They also said that this facility only will be available in the Shimla, Dharamshala and Manali where every year so many tourists visits and faces the traffic problems. For this purposes a team form the Holland will be visited the state and checks the mountains or other areas, whether it is suitable for the metro train or not. If they passed the certificate for opening the metro train than state ministry will send a letter to the central ministry to open the Metro Train facility in the Himachal Pradesh.
If you have ever visited these places during the summer season than you will have seen that traffic system is very old and peoples have to wait for long time to pass their vehicle. So if this facility will available than traffic system will be maintained easily.
The teams from Holland will checks the various locations and after that they will set different path from where metro train will be open. During the way so many tunnel, fly over and bridges will be made to avail this facility. So it is very big projects which will takes about 2 to 4 years. So till 2020 we will see metro train facility in the Himachal Pradesh, which is good news for the state peoples; and if this facility will be available then HP will become the first state of the country in term of hilly areas to avail this facility.
Location
Firstly this metro train facility will be open in the state of Himachal Pradesh Shimla and after that Dharamshala will be next location to open this facility. There is not too much difficulty in Dharamshala as compared to Shimla because it is plane areas as compared to Shimla. They also said that Manali is also the option for opening this facility but if central government will approve the location. Otherwise only two districts will be suited for the metro train facility.
