Childhood and Early Days of Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai was born 1-11-1973 in a Bunt Family (Rais and Shettys) Mangalore, Karnataka to Krishnaraj Rai, a Marine biologist and Brindya, a housewife. Her elder brother Aditya Rai is an engineer in Merchant Navy. He has produced one of her films. When she was young girls, the family shifted to Bombay and studied in Arya Vidya Mandir High School and at Jai Hind College for one year and later in D G Ruparel College in Matunga a suburb of Bombay. In HSC she secured 90% marks. She had learned classical music and dance for some time. While she was growing in Bombay, she was having the desire to become an architect and joined the Raheja College. But her fate had something else in store for her. Because of her extremely beautiful look modeling companies were after her. In the year 1994 at 21 she entered in contest for Miss India and later in Miss World. She was crowned as the Miss World.
