The Kumara parvata,it is one of the great hill stations in Karnataka.It is located in Kukke subramanya in Dakshina kannada district.It is a divison of western ghats and it is about 3945 ft height.How to reach Kumara Parvata, Karnataka
This pushpagiri is about 13 to 14Km from kukke subramanya.we have to go by walk or trekking to reach kumara parvata. while trekking we will get a dense forest with full of darkness.And before trekking starts we will get a house called Bhattara mane,which will be favarouble lunch point.
Then while trekking in that dense forest we will get number of tress and plants which will be Ayurvedic medicine,which will be helpful for those who are researching in ayurveda.Then after 2 to 3 hours of steep climb, you'll be facing deep valley of pushpagiri and peak of kumara parvatha. A shiva temple on the peak can be a camping point.After that temple by continuing the trekking we can reach,the most beautiful,exciting peak pushpagiri.there will be an entrance fees of 100rs.Now it was more of a leisure walk on the hills admiring beautiful surroundings and misty peaks.You can feel that the clouds are touching you.It will be an awesome experince in your life,if you visit pushpagiri.
