Lohaghat is a popular hill station in Uttarakhand. It is situated on the banks of Lohawati River in situated in Tanakpur. Lohaghat is very famous for its tourist places and temples. Lohaghat is situated at an altitude of 1706 metres above the sea level. One can easily reach Lohaghat from Pithoragarh. Lohaghat is an ancient town of Uttarakhand and it is the most beautiful place of Uttarakhand to visit. Lohaghat town is spread across an areas of about 4.5 kms. Lohaghat is very famous for its temples and ashrams. Many devotees and pilgrims visit Lohaghat from all over India. Before visiting Advaita Ashram also known as the Mayawati Ashram it is the best relaxing place.

Lohaghat is situated in hill state of India i.e. Uttarakhand and it very easily approached from all cross the India. Nearest Railhead to Tanakpur is situated at a distance of about 89 km away from Lohaghat. From there you can easily reach Lohaghat throug regular buses and taxis.
