Introduction about the Kumaon Engineering College:-
The Kumaon Engineering College was established in April 21, 1991 .This college was located in Ranikhet, located in Uttarakhand, INDIA. The Kumaon Engineering College was formally known as the Kumaon Engineering College but actually it was named as BIPIN CHANDRA TRIPATHI KUMAON ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
This was an Engineering college which will having 720 under graduated courses and 105 post graduated courses .In 1986 the college was established by the government of Uttarakhand for promoting the engineering and technical environment .The college was get started in 1991. The institute was managed by the Board of governor with the Minister of Technical education Government of Uttarakhand, as the chairman and Secretary of Technical Education as Vice Chairmen .The principal is the member secretary of Board of Governors.
The college was spread over an area of 155 acres at an height of 1450meters.The college was situated in the hilly area so that it make an plus point for the college by creating the college pollution free and having good environment with having no noise done by the vehicle on the roads etc .This was also an a great advantage for the student who came there for study .The college also have the facilities which make the student and college well efficient in their respective works.CAMPUS LOCATION OF KUMAON COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING:-
The Kumaon college of Engineering was located in the Dwarahat which was located in the Ranikhet in the Uttarakhand India .The Dwarahat was an hilly area .It was exactly about 30 km far from the Ranikhet and was on the karnprayag National Highway (87-E).If you want to travel through train or plan to came in the college by travelling by train then you found the nearest Railway station of Kumaon College of Engineering was Kothgodam which was nearly 118 km.
The college was spread over an area of 155 acres and was at an approximate height of 1450 meters. The location around the college was having the noiseless environment and the campus was situated on the hilly areas by which the college was having the great pollution free environment no any sound of any vehicle.
In the summer the maximum temperature of this place will be approximate 30degree that was also remain for the few weeks and after that the environment remain cool and fresh.THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE INTITUTE FACILITIES:-
The Kumaon College of Engineering or also we named it Bipin Chandra tripati Kumaon College of Engineering which was located in Dwarahat Ranikhet Uttarakhand was having the affiliation through the Uttarakhand Technical University and also approved by the All India Council For Technical Education
(AICTE).

Apart from all of this the college has the facilities of library, hotels and many other which were discussed below.
According to the facilities provided in the libraries the Kumaon college was also ranked good for this purpose .There were a good facilities of books regarding to the syllabus and the journals provided for the student for the better knowledge of the world .The journals like IEEE and other magazines are also provided by the college .The college will also provides the facilities of central library which operates an open access basis. The student and the staff can use the number of books as they want for their work.
The library also provides the 14 international and 50 national journals for the improvement in the knowledge of the students.
For the head of the library the college has opined the library management software called LIBSYS, for the library. The library staff was licensed to use the DELNET data base for their studies, project works, and for the other research.
The software's which are present in the library are introduced below:-
MultiSim,Ultiboard ACTIVEHDL,ACTIVEHDL,Synplify,AutoCAD Inventor Series CommSim,PCADD – 5,PSIM – 5, Proctus VSM, NetSim ,ESPRITCAM Computer Added Manufacturing .
Such type of software's and books was present in the library of the Kumaon college of Engineering.
The college head was also plane to provide more good facilities in the library so that the student could get more facilities in their college and can do much better in the feature.
Now as we moves towards the facilities regarding the Hostel facilities for the student in Kumaon Engineering College was also good .The college were having the 11 hostels for boys and girls separately having there different and good facilities provided in the hostels .INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF THE COLLEGE:-
THE Kumaon college of engineering having great facilities in each field and the same great achievement they attain in the field of placing the department in the college .The Kumaon engineering college contain the six department which was discussed below:-
1)Applied science department of Kumaon engineering college:-
The applied science department of Kumaon College of engineering is only for the first year student's. The department was having the subjects like Mathematics, physics, and the chemistry which was somewhat same as the +2 level.
The applied science has very well equipped labs for the student of the college the labs of this department was discussed below.

3)Soil and water pollution lab
4)General physics lab
5)Optics lab
Such type of labs facilities comes under the department of applied science.
2)Computer science department of Kumaon engineering college.
The computer science department of the Kumaon College of engineering provides the CS and the MCA with the hardware and software labs for the student comes under the computer science department.

The Electronics department provides all the courses related to the Electronics and communication .They introduced the student with the various ideas about the instrument, devices they give them the knowledge of any electronic devices .Also they appointed the well lecturers for giving them the knowledge about the electronics as well as the electrical department .
