In past , Beed city also known as Champavati Nagar.this city also known as bhir,bid bir. this historic city situated bank of Bindusara river. this city surrounded by so many historic places.

Kankaleshwar temple =
It is beautiful temple in this city.this temple build by the Yadavas.this temple build with black stone. situated in the middle of small lake in the part of the city.this historic temple surrounded by the water.

Khandeshwari temple =
This temple build by Ahilyabai Holkar. Every year Dashara is celebrated in this temple.

Khandoba temple=
This temple constructed by hemadpanthi style.two towers are available called deepmal.tover have curved figure of human and animal.this temple build by mahadji scindia.

JATA SHANKAR TEMPLE =
It is heart of this town.it is said that prabhu ram was helpless to find the sita. Then jataya bird tried to realise sita from the custody of lankapati ravan. he was injured. bird told the story of sita to ram.Then prabhu ram funeral jatashankar near jata shankar temple.

Kapildhar temple =
Kapildhar is famous because of manmath swami's samadhi.there is lovely water fall.manmath swami wrote in marathi and placed himself in marathi litaretuure.he discribe many abhyanas andastang acharan.

An ancient temple of lord khandoba and lord mahadev.

Naigao sanctuary =
At naigaov there is pecock sanctuary.It is situated in balaghat range .It is natural beauty.

This is famous because of biggest water fall in the district.there is rameshwar cave.

Namalgaov=
It is famous villege for the ganesh temple.there is union of rivers .Like bandusara, narmada , karpara.beside there is water tank.people who suffer to leprocy took bath this tank.this is attractive temple in this town.

Gorakshnath temple =
This is famous holy place . on the high hills.this is temple of lord mahadev and samdhi of gorakshnath.it is said that gorkshnath threw golden brike on the hill. temple was build there.natural surrounding of that area.it is attrative in the mansoon.
