Ayurvedic medicines and Home remedies to cure Headache


Headache is the "disease of head". Headache is caused due to many reasons. Now a days we see many peoples having regular problem of headache. Mental stress, continuous working on computers, watching television, loud noise, continuous reading of books without proper light, pollution are the reasons which are responsible for headache. Here are ayurvedic and home remedies for headache.

Dehydration, Mental stress, continuous working on computers, watching television, loud noise, continuous reading of books without proper light, pollution are the reasons which are responsible for headache. Beside this head injuries may be the reason for headache. Excessive consumption for coffeine or nocotine, alcohol.

Here are some ayurvedic medicines and home remedies for headache.

1. Apply icepack on affected areas, this will reduce the temperature of head and will prevent the pains.

2. Clove are very effective in headache. Chew 2,3 clove it will reduce the pains. You can also apply 2,3 drops of clove oil on the affected area.

3. A glass of cold water in the headache also be very useful. Sometimes there are pains due to dehydration. A glass of water will give relief from pains in dehydration.

4. Consumption of lime juice with honey is also one of the effective home remedy for headache.

5. Tea with ginger, tulsi leaves and adulsa is very good for headache treatment as well as in normal fever.

6. Garlic is also one of the best home remedy for headache. Garlic juice cures headache.

7. Eucalyptus oil massage gives relief from pains in headache.

8. Tablespoon of sugar in headache will decrease the pains, sweet taste of sugar gives instant relief.

9. Make powder of camphor and mix with coconut oil. Massage head with this camphor mixed oil. This will give relief from head ache.

10. Make paste of clove with salt and take this with glass of milk. This will relieve headache caused due to stress or tension.

Things must be avoided in Headache -

1. Eating junk and fried food stuff must be avoided in headache.

2. Stay stress and tension free.

3. Don't stay hungry, hunger would be the reason for headache.

4. Take a break during your reading, watching televisions or working on computer.
