NUMERIC Digital 600 Plus UPS : Best with Performance.
This is a Homemade project. Its a Do It Yourself and also at your own risk.
Every Computer need's an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) that will at least last 10 to 15 minutes. Most often this is very less backup time where there are frequent Load-shading and Power Cutoff's and also where there is a Drastic Change in the Power Supply that comes from a Electricity Board.

Every Computer need's an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) that will at least last 10 to 15 minutes. Most often this is very less backup time where there are frequent Load-shading and Power Cutoff's and also where there is a Drastic Change in the Power Supply that comes from a Electricity Board.
Hence, I purchased a NUMERIC Digital 600 Plus UPS that is designed to give 600VA that mean's It is capable of handling a Load of 350 to 360 Watts. This UPS gave me a Terrific Performance and that too continuously for about 3 Years. It was giving me a 15 to 10 Minutes Backup time so that It was possible for me to shut down my Computer and wait till the Light comes (i.e., Power supply).
Now it is more than three years and My battery that was residing in that UPS cabinet is being totally used up so I left with no any other option but to replace it. But I thought of extending the Backup time. I consulted my friend's so that if any one was keen enough to give me the Right Solution. But Unfortunately, I didn't find anyone.
Even I went to the Inverter and UPS Supplier he too said that no any bigger or liquid acid battery could suite to your UPS. Even though I attached the Lead Acid Battery which is of 12 Volt and 40AmpereHour(Ah) and I waited for two days. Amazingly in those two days there was no any power failure from the Electricity Board. And on the Third day Power failure started and I started watching my UPS backup that was with a new Lead Acid Battery. And fortunately It gave only a backup of 20 minutes.
Then one of the UPS supplier said that It is charging to a Certain limit only and your Lead acid battery will not get charged enough for more than 20 minutes.
So I am thinking to purchase a New UPS/Inverter and also the Regular UPS battery that is of 12Volt and 7.2Ah rating.
The only thing I was about to mention that I took a Chance to increase the backup capacity of my PC but you should be careful of doing such thing's. Because No one Has a Right to play with such Heavy duty Shock's that can cause Hazard's to your life. I did it because I took the utmost care of mine while opening the UPS and Connecting the Lead Acid battery.
So don't take any chances, If you don't know anything about Electronics.
