In this type of broadband internet connection we will require a land-line connection so as to use the service. Also we need to buy our own Broadband Modem to use the service. In this type we get various types of vouchers ranging from Rs. 200/- to Rs. 6000/-. For the 200 recharge voucher we can use prepaid broadband service for download up to 700MB with validity of 30 days and speed will be up to 2Mbps. For 6000/- voucher we will get unlimited download with the speed of 1Mbps.
I think that the Prepaid Broadband Internet Connection Plan is better for those who use it in for limited download purpose only. Here the best prepaid voucher is of Rs. 1000/- where we can unlimited download is allowed at the speed of 256 Kbps. II) Postpaid Broadband Internet Connection Plan:
In this type of connection we can add the broadband connection to our existing land-line connection and if we subscribe for 12 months then we can get the broadband modem for free. That is BSNL provide us the broadband modem for free. Here, the postpaid broadband plans starts from Rs. 499/- to Rs. 750/-.
In the Postpaid broadband internet connection plan of Rs. 499/- we will get unlimited download facility with a speed of 256 Kbps. For the broadband internet plan of Rs. 750/- we will get a speed of 512 Kbps with unlimited download and the rent of Rs. 180/- is waved off. So if you select the postpaid broadband plan of Rs. 750/- then you will not have to pay for a monthly rent of using the land-line phone.Advance Payment Option of BSNL:
The best scheme is that if you pay a bill for 10 months in advance payment option of BSNL then next two months will be free for using the same plan. Hence, if you select a postpaid broadband plan of Rs. 499/- and pay Rs. 4990/- in ADVANCE then next two months will be free. Hence, you save a lot. Also it is same for the postpaid plan of Rs. 750/-. Here if you pay for 10 months ADVANCE of Rs. 7500/- then next two months we will get free usage of broadband.
