Indian Idol 6 Auditions
The audition of Indian Idol season 6 will be held across cities like Mumbai, Ahemdabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow. So the deadlines for all cities except mumbai are over and only Mumbai city Auditions will be held on 18th and 19th of May 2012.
Indian Idol 6:
The well known singing show Indian Idol telecast by Sony Television channel is up for the year 2012. The Indian Idol of the year 2012 will take auditions in three formats. Hence, the candidates can apply through various participation methods like SMS, IVR calling and Online participation. There is also a new method of Mini Auditions. The mini auditions will be held in the cities like Rajkot, Amritsar, Jaipur and Aurangabad. So the participants can choose any one method so as to participate for the show of 2012 and it is named as Indian Idol 6. 
Web Auditions:
For more details you can log on to the website of www.MyIndianIdol.com. The age criteria for this year Indian Idol show for the people of India will be between 16 to 30 years of age as on 16th February 2012. Last date to participate is 18th and 19th of May 2012. So every contestant should take a note of the deadline and they should apply as early as possible so as to avoid last minute rush. Use any one so as to participate in Indian IDOL 6:
1. To participate via SMS:
To participate in Indian Idol 6 of the year 2012, just send SMS (which will be rated as Rs. 3 per sms) to the number 52525 with the message content as follows:
IDOL
For example: -
To: 52525
Subject: IDOL Abc 20 Male MUM.
Remember you have to mention the city in which you can give the auditions. For Mumbai the city code is MUM, for Lucknow the city code is LUC, Delhi city code is DEL, Ahmedabad city code is AHM and Kolkata city code is KOL.
Once your registration is done via sms you will get a confirmation message from Sony Television India.
2. To participate via IVR:
To participate via mode you have to dial5052525* via mobile and for the BSNL landline subscribers from Punjab and Rajasthan only can register themselves by calling on 1255525. The charges via IVR system will be Rs. 6.99 per minute.
Once your call gets connected, you should first select preferred language in the IVR system as Hindi or English. The next step is to select the preferred city for auditions which you have to choose from the options they tell via IVR system then select your age and gender to confirm the registration. In this IVR system you have to input or press in a valid key at each step so as to register for the Indian Idol auditions for the year 2012. If all the inputs are valid then your entry will be registered.
3. Online Participation:
For online participation the contestants will have to logon on to the web address: www.MyIndianIdol.com and register themselves in three steps. In step one the contestants will have to enter their Name, Age, Gender, Contact Number, Email ID and preferred city of Auditions amongst the select few cities only.
The next step is to agree the Terms and conditions of participation. In this way the last step will be to answer to the question: "Why do you think you could be the next Indian Idol?"
So the contestants should apply via any one of the above mentioned methods to participate in the singing talent show named as Indian Idol 6 of the year 2012.
