Already names suggested for Indian presidential election 2012 includes Pranab Mukherjee, P.A. Sangma, A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Somanath Chatterjee and Hamid Ansari. As we all know some of them were rejected by the political parties. Congress party has announced Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee as the UPA nominee for Indian presidential election 2012. He is a strong politician to become the future president of India. But who else are the nominees for Indian presidential election 2012? Dr A. P.J. Abdul Kalam, who was the 11th president of India, was the Trinamool Congress's candidate of choice. A Sangma that he will opt out from presidential poll 2012 and to support Pranab Mukherjee. It's clear that Sangma is facing pressures from party sides to withdraw from the presidential race. Even NCP chief Sharad Pawar had advised Sangma to withdraw from this election. P.A.Sangma latest news reports that he had resigned from NCP to compete for presidential election.
