Arjuna Ranatunga Visits a Local Newspaper Office and two schools in Kolhapur City, Maharashtra

The former Sri-Lankan Cricketer, Arjuna Ranatunga, gave a surprising visit to the local newspaper office. On this occasion he discussed on various topics and reported his views on Cricket, Other Sports, Culture and Politics. As the discussion was going on, Arjuna Ranatunga mentioned that if there is a dedication then anything is possible. Here the main thing he mentioned was that if one works hard and applies proper practices then there is nothing un-achievable in this world. Arjuna Ranatunga also mentioned that applying these principles made them glorious in the Cricket World Cup of 1996. 
Arjuna Ranatunga says that there is no such field where you cannot succeed. Once you dedicate, apply proper practices and work hard everyday then the success never too far. He mentioned that even if he is working as a politician in Sri-Lanka, the words of Former Cricketer of Pakistan - Imran Khan. Imran Khan said to Arjuna Ranatunga, that even if you are a politician, your focus must always be in the development of Sports and not politics.
Knowing the performance of Sachin Tendulkar, Arjuna Ranatunga said that the game of Twenty-20 Cricket is just for the entertainment. Today we all know that in Twenty-20 Cricket we see every bowler being smashed out of park. The scenario in the Test Cricket is totally different and Sachin Tendulkar must now concentrate on the Test Cricket which seems very challenging for every cricketer. At the end of discussion, Arjuna Ranatunga was being presented a Kolhapuri Pheta and the local Newspaper was overwhelmed by his visit to the office. Arjuna Ranatunga and his wife visited two schools in the Kolhapur City and they spent their time with small children's. On the two day visit near Kolhapur City, Arjuna Ranatunga and his wife firstly visited the Sanjeevan International School near Kadamwadi. In the photograph below we can see Arjuna Ranatunga and his wife enjoying their visit to the Sanjeevan International School. In this school Arjuna Ranatunga interacted with school kids and described them the importance of Cricket and other sports in their life. The Sanjeevan Knowledge City Institutional visit of Arjuna Ranatunga was very surprising for each and every member associated with the Sanjeevan foundation. The student's were very happy to get a chance to interact with the Legend Arjuna Ranatunga. The former Sri-Lankan was being escorted to the premises of Sanjeevan Institution by all the officials of the school and four students marching and leading the way of Honorable Arjuna Ranatunga. After this the school girls welcomed the Legend Arjuna Ranatunga and his wife with the Tilak Ceremony.
In this way the Guest, Arjuna Ranatunga and his wife reached to the stage where all the students were eagerly waiting. Here they started the program with lighting the Niranjan which we believe that it is the basic source of knowledge and enlightens the ceremony. After that a welcome speech was delivered by the school officials. After this welcoming speech from school officials, Arjuna Ranatunga, were offered the traditional Shall and Shree Phal (Coconut). A memento was also arranged for the Legend Sir Arjuna Ranatunga. After few minutes the school also requested Arjuna Sir to plant a tree inside the premises of Sanjeevan Knowledge City Institution.
Speech of Arjuna Ranatunga in Sanjeevan Knowledge City, Panhala :
Sir Arjuna Ranatunga started the speech by saying that Children's I don't know the Marathi Language and let us please interact in English. During his speech he mentioned that today it is the necessity of time that every student properly inculcates the Education with Sports so as to be successful in the competitive world. He also mentioned that every student should aspire and dream big. But it is equally important that there is a proper practice and dedication to chase those dreams. 
Arjuna Ranatunga Sir also mentioned that Sachin Tendulkar is the best example and Idol for every youth. We all know that how hard Sachin Tendulkar practiced and dedicated his life towards cricket. Today it is 21 years of Cricket from Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and he still inspires the youth to strive hard and dream big. All the students must know that there is nothing unachievable in the competitive world.
Arjuna Sir was enchanted by the surrounding of Panhala and the Sanjeevan Knowledge City Institution. He addressed to every student that they are so lucky to be studying in such an outstanding atmosphere. Now the students it is up to you and you have to make most out of such a divine opportunity. While concluding the speech, Arjuna Sir, wished "All the Best" to the students.
In the end the officials took Arjuna Sir inside the Institution and shown them the facilities available for every student in the Sanjeevan Knowledge City, Panhala. Here Arjuna Sir was presented a small tree which will make him remember the Sanjeevan Knowledge City of Panhala whenever he water's the plant at his preferred location. At the end Arjuna Ranatunga Sir filled the Guest book of Sanjeevan Knowledge city and the photographs were being taken with all the officials of Sanjeevan Knowledge City of Panhala.
