Gemini Ganesan was a famous actor in tamil film industry. He was born on 17th November,1920 at Pudukottai in a middle class family in a tamil brahmain family. In his childhood age, he was highly inspired by his grandfather Narayanaswami. He lost his Father and Grandfather in his young age. His Mother and Grandmother moved to Chennai to his aunt Muthulakshmi's home. His aunt joined him in "Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa" Mission home. Gemini Ganesan worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Madras Christian College. Then he worked in "Gemini Studios" as a Executive Producer in 1947. So his name called as "Gemini Ganesan". He got a first chance to act in the film "Miss Malini" in the year 1947. Gemini Ganesan acted as a Romantic Hero in many tamil films. So he called as "Kadhal Mannan(King of Romance)". He was noticed by the tamil industry in the film "Thai Ullam" as a Villain character. Gemini Ganesan's aim was to become a Doctor.Later he married to family woman "Alamelu" in June 1940.Alamelu's father promised Ganesan to help for medical sheet after graduation.But suddenly one day Alamelu's father died.So Ganesan felt that his dreams become spoiled.He decide to do job immediately for his family.One of his uncle advised him to become a Teacher.So later he joined as a Chemistry Lecturer in Madras Christian College.By family problem,he divorced his wife Alamelu.later he married the film actress "Savithri".
