K.B.Sundarambal is the famous Tamil Lady Stage Artist and Singer in South Indian film industry. She was also a great actress in tamil film industry. Kodumudi Balambal Sundarambal was born on 11th October, 1908 at Kodumudi in Erode District. K.B.Sundarambal was the first film personality to enter a State Legislature in India.
In her child age, she was born in a poor family and very excellent in singing devotional songs in trains and receiving money from passengers for her songs. After developing as a famous singer, she was popularly called as "Queen of the Indian stage" by the tamil film industry. Her voice is very famous with strong, high pitch made her very famous in every films and songs. She died on October 15th, 1980.

Krishnasamy Iyer introduced K.B.Sundarambal to P.S.Velu Nair, whom was the famous Dramatist. K.B.Sundarambal made her debut in the year 1917 as the Stage Performer . Every audiences were surprised and impressed by the young girl Sundarambal's voice in that stage shows.
K.B.Sundarambal acted in stage plays as Valli Thirumanam, Pavallakodi and Harichandra proved her as a greatest hit Stage artist. She was regarded as an legend in her life time. K.B.Sundarambal and S.G.Kittapa only satrring in the stage play "Valli Thirumanam ". They both working together and act in many stage shows. S.G.Kittapa also an actor and they both fell in love.
Soon K.B.Sundarambal and Kittapa got married on the year 1927 and became the greatest Lovers in the stage shows. They made the life with Professions happily and worked for Indian National Congress . Her husband Kittapa died very soon in her young age on the year 1937.
