This is an article about a place in Palani a small city in Dindigul district and around 110 km from Madurai and around 60km from Dindigul, a famous temple town with Lord Murga (Dandauthapani) as main GOD. Palani is one of the six famous places of Lord Murga. It is called in Tamil as "ARU PADAI VEEDU " meaning six places and its a hill temple. It takes about half an hour to round the hill. The hill also contains some valuable herbals. Around the temple we have a lot of small temples and all are different in construction and the way they sculptured the Gods statue. All are excellent and we should see at least once in our life time.

When we round the hill to the most of its total distance then we can see near the winch station we can see Kala Bairav temple. The statue is very big so that I got scared for a moment on seeing this. That is not because of afraid but because of the size GOD has. Don't come to Palani for seeing only the LORD MURUGA. Also see the KALA BAIRAV. My request to the people who reed this article.
