During this period many leaders like Bipin chandrapal, Bal gangadhar tilak, Lala lajapat Rai, Rani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat sing, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subashchandra bose, veerapandi Kattabomman any many more who lost their life for the sake of their motherland. The cruel ruling of British East India company ruled our country more than 3 centuries. During this period they exploited our country economically. Under the leadership of mahatma Gandhi, a large number of mass gathered for hearing the speech of Mahatma Gandhi. He was criticized in many occasion over the policy of peace and Non-violence but not mind on that he took it as a positive criticism and marched ahead.
