Nanban is the new tamil movie which is released today and is one of the most awaited films in tamil film industry. This film is the remake of the blockbluster Hindi film 3 Idiots the story of the film Nanban is based on the novel Five Point Someone written by the famous writer Chetan Bhagat. The lead roles in Nanban are played by the famous tamil heroes Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth and this film rocks the entire South India. The film starts with Srikanth (Venkata Ramakrishnan) and Jeeva (Sevalkodi Senthil) who are in search for Vijay (Panchavan Parivendan). Sathyan (Srivatsan) also joins their journey in search of Vijay. After this the flashback in Nanban movie starts.
The flashback portrays the life of engineering students, their hostel life and their professors. Sathyaraj plays the role of the strict professor. Our 3 heroes are students who share the hostel room in this college. They three are the thickest friends and in this film Srikanth does engineering just for fulfilling his fathers wish, Jeeva studies to raise the financial position of his family and Vijay studies because he loves the course.
Tamil actor Vijay like all other usual story falls in love with Ileana who is the heroine of Nanban movie. She plays the role of a medical college student and is also the daughter of the college Principal Sathyaraj (Virumandi Santhanam) who hates Vijay and his fond of Sathyan.
Vijay passes the exam with flying colors and also helps his friends to achieve their goal but after this he suddenly disappears.
Now the friends along with IIeana begin their search for Vijay.
