Story line of the Tamil movie Marina

The director with his own style of script is back once again with a simple story concept with an intense story line given as a small budget film in a timely release for Tamil audience. The story is very simple with several interesting facts by the kids at marina beach and the story depicts the life history of young boys selling snacks at marina beach with different dreams in their life carrier. Mean while the love blossom between shiva and oviya are been portrayed in a different manner. Chennai Marina Beach one of the largest beach acts as a best entertainment zone for various peoples and we also would have visited the beach may be for relaxation but never have analyzed about the daily life of various personalities and kids who make up their living at the beach but the director has delivered the life of small children their importance in education as a social message to the public from his movie.

The movie opens with a Mortuary Van moving towards Chennai and the van reaches and stops at Marina Beach in Chennai and Pakoda Pandian(Ambikapathy) comes out of the van with a desire in getting a job to fulfill his interest in education. Later a title song Vanakkam Chennai goes on showing the life of various people at beach in Chennai. As pakoda pandian an orphan was treated badly and put up into a work at Bar by his father's brother he decided to move out of the town towards Chennai to fulfill his desire towards education.

Initially Pakoda pandian struggles to find a place for his settlement at the beach as he is new to Chennai and being protested by other kids who have been put up with their life at the beach. Later pakoda meets an old man at the beach in night time and the old man shares his food with him and asks the reason for his arrival at Chennai and said to continue with any kind of job but not to beg the peoples for money. Then pakoda pandian finds a place for his shelter at a tree to night and later in the morning he was warned by another kid Kailash towards the occupied place. Pandian asks for his friendship but Kailash and other denies with his relationship. Later after few days pandian through his intelligent in sales gets in friendship with Kailash, old man, Singer and a horse rider who finds pandian truth in his business and character. Mean while shiva who runs a restaurant business along with friend are shown up in the screen. Shiva and his friend has a habit of visiting marina beach often and shiva by seeing the lovers at the beach says to his friend how these peoples are getting with a pair and says his goal is to get a girl friendship and pass the time with her in the sands of the beach. In between pandian gets good relationship with other children's who are put up into same work like him and also tries to know the relationship of a postman with these children's. In parallel shiva finds a girls Oviya and gets impress with her and tries several ways with his funny gestures of actions to get her relationship and finally shiva gets her relationship and takes her to beach to fulfill his dreams of action meanwhile shiva also get in relationship with the kids selling snacks at beach. In addition several twist moves around the story indicating the history of Kailash and other kids along with the story and dream of old man and singer.
