Those who wish to take a morning walk in the park should have monthly pass of Rs. 150. Other than this, the general timing of the park is from 10 am to 8 pm. The park will be closed on Tuesdays. There are eight subgardens in the park and there are thematic gardens too. The park has an organization named as Friends of Adyar Poonga that has about 40 members to create environmental awareness.
