Tamilnadu SET Exam 2013 - Tamilnadu State Eligibility Test

State Eligibility Test which was popularly known as SET Exam to determine the eligibility of Lectureship in Tamil Nadu. SET Exam was conducted rarely in the past years. SET was conducted in the year 2002, 2004, 2006,2008, 2011 and 2012 only.

SET or NET is a basic eligibility for Assistant Professor in the Government Arts college. Those who completed Ph.D can apply without NET or SET for Assistant Professor. In Tamil Nadu there are lot of vacancies for Assistant Professor in Government and Aided College.

Tamil Nadu Higher Education Council has decided to conduct State Eligibility Test SET Exam Twice in a year like University Grands Commission UGC - National Eligibility Test NET. Bharathiar University is a Nodal Agency of Tamil Nadu Government to conduct State Eligibility Test. Bharathiar University conduct SET Exam last two year. But now SET is conducted twice in a upcoming year.
