Aadi Velli: All the Fridays of Aadi month are considered special. On these days Abhishekam, Archana, Puja, Aarti is done for Goddess Shakthi and Lord Muruga. Women will offer egg and milk to Goddess Nagadevi. It is believed that the goddess will fulfill their wishes.
In many Karumariyamman temples Kuzh or Ragi porridge will be offered and then it will be served to devotees.
