The Famous Bengali Singer Shreya Ghoshal was born on 12th March in the year 1984 in Berhampore of West Bengal. Her father is Mr. Bishwajit Ghoshal and mother is Mrs. Sarmistha Ghoshal. She stayed about three months in her birth place at Berhampore of West Bengal and then her family shifted to Rawatbhata of Rajasthan, because her father was posted in Rajasthan. From her childhood Shreya Ghoshal has weakness to music. So her father arranged a music teacher for her. Her first music teacher mother Mrs. Sarmistha Ghoshal who is also a best singer. Then she learnt music from Rakesh Sharmaji and Jayawardhan Bhatnagar. After them she learnt music from her school teacher whose name is Mahesh Chandra Sharmaji. All the music teachers of Shreya Ghoshal were from Kota of Rajasthan. After she came to Mumbai and learnt music from Late Mukta Bhideji.
Shreya Ghoshal started her career in Bollywood in the film "Devdas". She was awarded with two best prestigious awards Filmfare Award, Filmfare RD Burman Award for this film. After that her career kept a magnificent speed. Now Shreya Ghoshal is continuing her career in Bengali films and Bollywood films.
