About Rituparno Ghosh

Rituparno Ghosh was born on 31st August in the year 1963 in Kolkata of West Bengal. His father was a documentary film maker. He is one of the famous film director in Tollywood film industry as well as also in Bollywood industry. So the film industries are also happy by getting a popular film director as Rituparno Ghosh. He has also awarded with eight prestigious National Film Awards.He has also acted in about two films as the lead actor and also proved his acting career. He has directed a film which is a children film and whose name was "Hirer Angti" was his first film and after his first film he directed his second film whose name was "Unishe April". After the success of the two films the film industry realized about the new Bengali film director Rituparno Ghosh. Now he is one of the top director in Bollywood.

Career of Rituparno Ghosh

Rituparno Ghosh started his school career from South Point High School and after the completion of his schooling career he started study of economics from Jadavpur University of Kolkata. After he completed his study he came in to the rill world. He started his career as a director of advertisements. In the year 1992 he directed a low budget children film whose name was "Hirer Angti". His second film was "Unishe April" by which he got the prestigious National Film Award in the year 1995. Rituparno Ghosh was awarded with many prestigious awards. He was awarded with the National Film Award in the year 1995 for his film "Unishe April", Again got National Film Award for the best screen play award for his film "Dahan" in the year 1998. He was also awarded with many awards for his film such as : Utsav, Shubho Muharat, Chokher Bali, Raincoat, The Last Lear, hob Charitro Kalponik, Abohoman and many more.
