State Bank of India is taking 9500 candidates for the post of Clerks and Stenographers in this year. Read this article to know about the qualification, age restriction, salary application fees or other relevant information.
State Bank of India is taking 9500 candidates for the post of Clerk(Assistant) , Clerk(Stenographer-nglish)and Clerk(Stenographer- hindi ) from all the states in India.Qualifications:
A candidate who has one of the following qualification can apply for above 3-posts:
1. A candidate should be passed higher secondary or equivalent level examination with atleast 60% marks(55% marks for ST, ST,PH, Ex-servicemen).
2. A candidate should be passed graduation .
3. A candidate who has passed 2-year full time diploma course from any recognized technical institute with 60% marks (55% marks for ST, ST,PH, Ex-servicemen) can also apply. In this case the candidate shouldn't have to pass higher secondary or equivalent level examination. But candidates passed diploma course from correspondence will not eligible for this examination.
But for the post of Clerk(Stenographer-nglish)and Clerk(Stenographer- hindi ) candidates should have to have a speed atleast 40 words/min and 55 words/min in english and hindi shorthand respectivelyAge Limits:
According as 1-12-2011 candidates should have an age of 18-28 years. There is an age relaxation for SC & ST(5-years), OBC(3 years) and 10 years for PH, Ex-service men.Vacancies:
Total vacancy is 9500. Out of 9500, there are 8500 vacancies in the post of clerk(Assistant), 100 vacancies in Clerk(Stenographer- hindi ), 900 vacancies in Clerk(Stenographer-english). Salary:
Main salary is 7200-19300. But graduate candidates from metro areas will get14,177 at starting.Date of Online application:
