Eligibility: To apply for Indian Overseas Bank recruitment 2012 for PO jobs, any graduate having 60% marks (55% for SC, ST, PH) can apply for this post. The candidates should have a basic knowledge in computer. Those who do not know basic computer knowledge, they must have to pass computer certificates course within 6-months from the date of joining. A candidate will be given priority if he/she passed banking and finance diploma course from IIBF.
Age limits: One should has his/her age between 20-30 years as on 1-07-2011 to apply for Indian Overseas Bank recruitment 2012 for PO jobs although the relaxation of upper age limits is available for SC, ST, OBC, PH, Ex-serviceman.
Vacancies: Total posts are 1500 (736 for Gen, 392 for OBC, 149 for ST, 223 for SC).

To apply for this job, candidates have to qualify the Common written Examination (CWE) 2011-12 for the post of Management Trainee/Probationary Officer conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and have to obtain IBPS score card. A candidate will have to obtain minimum 120 marks (105 marks for SC, ST, OBC, PH) and also 24 marks (21 marks for reserved candidates) in each and every part including the descriptive test. Out of total vacancies, thrice number of candidates will be called for interview or Group Discussion of 50 marks. A candidate should have to obtain 20.50 marks (20 marks for reserved candidates) out of 50 marks to qualify. The interview/ Group Discussion will be held in May/June.
