The educational system in West Bengal; experimentation with syllabus and its defects
The system of the education has been vigorously going down and down in West Bengal. Students wish to complete their higher education in the U.K. or U.S.A. They have to give severe entrance exam for admission. Formation of our syllabus is become like burden to the students. Students don’t able to learn other activities like sports, dancing, singing etc. for the burden of exam syllabus.
Educational system of Primary schools of West Bengal
In primary education the performance is not up to the level. Many poor people can not get scope to attend schools. The system is not friendly to the students. Children of primary level are burdened with so many books which don't have any spontaneous material. Students lose their interest from education because of these monotonous books. Even teachers are uninterested with these books for teaching. Even many schools only have just a building not even a blackboard. They don't able to give proper education to children. In the field of secondary and higher secondary level there are huge gap of syllabi between both course. Students have to face this problem of completed syllabi. So ordinary students can score high in secondary level but in other hand, it is very difficult to get a good pass to a brilliant student in higher secondary exam. So many experimentation with the syllabus create confusion in the minds of both teachers and students. The format of the syllabus should be comparable with both courses for students because they are touched with this constantly.System of Colleges and Universities education
Education system of colleges and universities is very irregular. The meritorious students are keenly interested for medical or engineering or other technical course. The medium standard students are crowding the colleges or universities for just some degree. But proper knowledge is missing in this system. They are deprived from huge knowledge.
So our education system must be interesting. Syllabi have to be student friendly. Talented persons should accept the teaching as their profession. Then our country will progress in education like other state.
