WBCS 2013 Group A Posts and pay scale details
Pay scale: The salary for WBSC 2013 for Group A posts mentioned above is Rs.15600-42000 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400. The Gross emoluments at entry level will be Rs.21000 besides DA, MA and HRA.
WBCS 2013 Group B posts and pay scale details
West Bengal Police Service comes under Group B.
Pay Scale: The salary for recruitment of WBCS Group B will be Rs.15600-42000 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400. Gross emoluments at the entry level will be Rs.21000 besides DA, MA and HRA.
WBCS 2013 Group C posts and pay scale details
Pay scale: The salary for WBCS 2013 for Group C posts is Rs.9000 to 40500 with Grade Pay of Rs.4400. Gross emolument at entry level will be Rs.13400 besides DA, MA and HRA.
WBCS 2013 Group D posts and pay scale details
Pay scale: The salary for WBCS 2013 for Group D will be Rs.7100-37600 with Grade Pay of Rs.3900. Gross emoluments at entry level will be Rs.12270 besides DA, MA and HRA.
WBCS 2013 educational eligibility: The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali is required. (Exception for the candidates from hill areas of Darjeeling District).
WBCS 2013 exam age limit: The candidate should be between 21 to 32 years for servi es and posts in Group A, C and D and should be between 20 to 32 years for Group B Service. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates of West Bengal, 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for BC and up to 45 years as upper age limit for PWD candidates.Selection process for PSCWB Civil Service recruitment 2013
Selection procedure for West Bengal Civil Service recruitment 2013 is based on the following. Initially candidates need to appeaar for WBCS 2013 preliminary exam. Qualified candidates will have to attend WBCS (Exe) 2013 Main Examination and those who are qualified in the main examination will be shortlisted for personality test.WBCS 2013 application form, fees and procedure to apply for Group A, B, C and D services
Fees: Candidates need to pay Rs.210 either by the way of IPO endorsed to 'The Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal" or by the way of challan from Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head "0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees". SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates having 40% and above physical disability are exempted from fee payment.
Application form and procedure to apply: Interested eligible candidates can obtain the application form for WBCS 2013 exam for which the prescribed format of application is available at WBPSC official website mentioned below. One copy of passport size photograph should be signed and affixed on the form and one copy of photograph should be enclosed for attendance sheet. Along with this candidates need to enclose photocopies of relevant proof of certificates with two self-addressed unstamped envelopes which can either be submitted in person or by registered post or speed post and it should reach the below mentioned address on or before 30th November 2012 which is the last date for receipt of application form for WBCS 2013 exam.
