1. 2 cups of yellow moong dal
2. Ginger (reasonably chopped)
3. Onion (finely chopped)
4. ½ cup cabbage (finely chopped)
5. 1 carrot (graded)
6. ½ cup peas (boiled)
7. ½ cup sliced cheese
8. ½ cup capsicum (finely chopped)
9. Vegetable oil to cook
10. Salt to taste
11. Red chili powder.
12. 3-4 green chilies (You may avoid chilies if you are cooking for children)
13. ½ Tsp Chaat masala
14. Coriander leaves (Dhania).

Moong dal chila is not only tasty but also very healthy because of nutritious value of moong dal as it is full of fiber, float, proteins and Vitamins. It is specially recommended to those who are fat as it helps in reducing fat. Similarly as we all know that vegetables are recommended due to their nutritious values. Like carrot which helps in blood purification, prevents cancer, improves vision etc. Similarly cheese is a good source of calcium and eno powder makes it crispy and good for stomach as doctors recommend it for gastric peoples.
