A. Odisha Administration Services (OAS) : 30 { 10(UR), 05(SC), 07(ST), 08(SEBC)}
B. Odisha Police Services (OPS) : 15 { 06(UR), 02(SC), 03(ST), 04(SEBC)}
C. Odisha Co-operative Services : 10 { 07(UR), 02(SC), 01(ST) }
D. Odisha Revenue Services : 100 { 34(UR), 16(SC), 23(ST), 27(SEBC)}
E. Odisha Taxation and Accounts Services : 209 {105(UR),34(SC),47(ST),23(SEBC)}
Total 162 posts available for Unreserved, 59 for SC, 81 for ST and 62 for SEBC. Grand Total: 364 posts. Reservation facility is available for SC/ST/SEBC/Ex servicemen/Sports men according to the rules and regulation of Odisha State Government.Salary Structure of Jobs in OPSC 2011
A. OAS and OPS: Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP. Rs. 5400/-
B. For Others : Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4600/-
Age Limits
Age of the candidate should be between 21-32 years as on 1st January 2011. 5 years of age relaxation is available for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Eligible Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualifications
In order to be eligible for the Odisha Civil Services Examination a candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree from any University incorporated by an act of the Central/State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or Deemed University.
Examination Fee
Rs.100(Rupees One Hundred) only in shape of Deposit of the amount in the Govt. Treasury/ Account Payee Bank Draft/Pay order drawn in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission payable at any scheduled bank of Cuttack.
Procedure to Apply
The Short Application Form is available in the Office of the Collectors of all the 30 Dists. Of Odisha, which can be obtained on production of Original Treasury Challan of Rs. 30(Rupees Thirty) only . The same can also be obtained by regd. Post by paying Account Payee DD of Rs. 70 only drawn in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, payable at Cuttack.
The Candidate should have to send the duly filled in and signed application form along with Fee, Photograph and Declaration by registered post/speed post/courier service to the below mentioned address on or before 31st December 2011.
