Keshab Rao belongs to Baharpur village in Dharakote block of Ganjam district, Odisha. He is very poor and earns his livelihood by training others in his village in martial arts. Wednesday evening, this event is organized in Janata Maidam, Bhubaneswar. Many journalists, important persons and pulic 
representatives are invited to this event to encourage him to achieve the record and register his name in the Guinness Book of World Records. For this event and witness the record, Nitin Shukla, a Guinness World Record official arrived from Pune. In the presence of him at the venue the green coconut breaking program organised.
There is no such record about breaking of green coconuts in Guinness Book of World Records. Special correspondents requested to register Keshab's name in the record book. After getting such requests, Guinness Book of World Records organisation allowed to organise this event and gave the minimum target breaking of 50 green coconuts in one minute (sixty seconds). Total 95 green coconuts are arranged in a row on a special stage which is arranged in Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. The brave Odia pua Keshab surprised the officials and public by breaking 85 green coconuts within just 52.7 seconds. Nitin Shukla handed over him the Guinness World Record certificate and declared him as the world's fastest coconut breaker. It is the first of its kind record in Guinness Book of World Records, and Keshab Swain becomes the first Odia to register his name in this record book. Other achievements of Keshab Swain
Keshab Swain registered his name five times in Limca Book of Records. In 2007 for first time he recorded his name by breaking 135 coconuts within 7 minutes and 26 seconds. He only broke his record in 2008 by breaking 170 green coconuts within 6 minutes and 22 seconds. Then, again he registered his name in Limca Book of Records for third time by breaking 168 green coconuts within 6 minutes and 02 seconds.
Then for the fourth time he broke 189 green coconuts within 6 minutes and 03 seconds and broke his earlier records. For the fifth time in 2011 he broke 250 green coconuts within 8 minutes and 56 seconds to register his name in Limca Book of Records. Keshab Swain received Biju Patnaik Award for Bravery in 2008
He was awarded with Biju Patanik Award for bravery from Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik on March 5, 2011. This award was given to him because of his bravery act, in which he saved many tourists from a burning bus in Madhy Pradesh on January 21, 2008. Keshab Swain needs our support to survive
Though this Oida veer Keshab Swain is able to register his name in Guinness Book of World Records, but he is suffering in life with financial problems because of lack of permanent income sources. I wish government will help this talented person to overcome from his financial crisis. So, from all Odia family my hearty congratulation to our first Odia Guinness World Record certificate holder.
