Odisha State

The new name of Orissa is Odisha. It is one of the states in India that attracts a lot of tourists from other places, with a wide diversity of tourist destinations. It is also known as Kalinga and Utkal. The modern Orissa was established in April 1 of 1936 and from that year, April 1 is celebrated as Utkal Divas.

Orissa is rich in its culture, arts and religion. There are total 30 districts in this state. Bhubaneswar is capital of the state. It is is also known as Temple city (Mandira Malini).
